im back in the uk now. i wasnt expecting it at all but it was pretty emotional leaving shanghai. i guesse in the last month that i was there it felt as if i was living an ideal life.. i was pretty excited to be coming back but since ive been here ive just felt weird and out of place.
i'll probably make another post about china since so much stuff happened there.
anyway, ive not really drawn any of my own work for the last 6 months, ive got a half finished childrens book to do, and since ive been gone some of my freinds are well underway working on comics that are gonna be published... so its time to get down to business..
Welcome back (to your English-speaking country). It's always the last month that's the hardest time to leave. For me two months was enough, three I was desperate but in the fourth and last I wanted to stay.
wow awesome, what did you do there/? you ever feel like going back? i didnt even see any comics. i tried to find one before i left but the only one i heard about was miles away. by the time i found the place it was already shut!
I taught history on an American Naval base to finish my teaching degree. Me and my wife talked about teaching there, but as soon as she finished her degree we couldn't so easily (we're having a baby). Which I'm okay with, I'm getting to the point where I'd rather just be around family and friends.
